ABET Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
The Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) for the Industrial Engineering Program have been designed and established to provide the academic knowledge in industrial engineering and practice in advanced and interdisciplinary applications with effective multidisciplinary teams for a professional and ethical manner.
Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) of the Industrial Engineering Program are shown in the table below:
PEO 1 Graduates perform proficiently and productively as industrial engineers engaging in design, planning and operations of manufacturing, production, logistics, industrial automation, and quality assurance systems. |
PEO 2 Graduates use their communication, leadership, and teamwork skills to function effectively both as individuals and as members of multidisciplinary teams engaging in ethical and professional industrial engineering practices that account for global, environmental and social impacts of engineering decisions. |
PEO 3 Graduates adapt and compete effectively in a rapidly changing technological environment both within and outside industrial engineering through advanced studies and the process of lifelong learning. |
