Mission
The Bachelor of Engineering Program in Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE), International Program, with a major in Dairy and Beverage Engineering (DBE), is the first program in Thailand exclusively designed to prepare students for emerging ASEAN and global production markets. Upon completing the program, students will have sufficient competencies in industrial engineering, microbiology, holistic dairy and beverage production engineering, and essential skills in collaborative management, leadership, entrepreneurship, and English to become global citizens and fulfill Mahidol University’s ultimate mission of being a 'World Class University.
Program Educational Objectives
This program aims not only to support the achievement of Mahidol University’s visions and missions but also to be recognized as the premier undergraduate program in Dairy and Beverage Engineering. After graduation, IPE-DBE graduates can perform industrial engineering professional practices in any organization, particularly those related to the dairy and beverage business, as well as start their own businesses.
The graduates are expected to have the following desired characteristics:
(1) Graduates effectively perform industrial engineering competencies specializing in dairy and beverage engineering to produce practical solutions and sustainability under limited resources and global competition in industrial and service sectors.
(2) Graduates function efficiently in interdisciplinary teams using their leadership and interpersonal skills in a collaborative working environment under professional ethics, related engineering standards, and enforced regulations.
(3) Graduates engage in continuous professional development in response to technological challenges to produce innovations and successfully acquire new knowledge and skills.
