The Department of Industrial Engineering organized a safety orientation at the beginning of the first semester of the Academic Year 2023 for all undergraduate students. Since then, this event has been hosted annually, and attendance is mandatory for all new undergraduate students enrolled in the Department of Industrial Engineering. Each year, the orientation emphasizes ABET educational quality assurance standards and the significance of laboratory safety. The orientation includes both pre-tests and post-tests.
